Application and Removal Instructions
- The best time to apply is before you go to sleep so that they can set overnight
- Prepare nails with alcohol. As an extra step you may apply a base coat (A bonder works the best for regular wraps; gels are pretty strong to start with so a bonder may not be needed)
- Remove the plastic film from the top and the cardboard from the bottom of each nail strip – start with the pinkies and work your way from each hand toward the thumb nails last for best results
- Find the size that fits the nails on both sides without having to trim the sides for best results
- Place the full strip on the nail, smooth and use cuticle scissors to trim the tops and then follow with a nail file to file down and under the top of the nail (if you can leave a little extra over the top overnight that helps too and you can clean the rest in the morning with a file – glass nail files are best)
- IMPORTANT: Orly bonder for base is ok to be tacky. Otherwise, it’s best to apply the base coat then use alcohol to dry then apply the strips. NO TOP COAT for gels needed and No Top Coat right away for regular strips – wait until the next day.
- For Gels – if they are semi-cured then you need to use a LED/UV lamp for 60 seconds (ShiBella site will have some for sale). For no-UV lamp needed gel wraps they will set overnight.
- Do NOT get hands wet at all after application until the next morning. This prevents shrinkage.
- You can store excess strips by resealing them with a heat sealer
- For regular (non-gel wraps): remove using nail polish remover
- For gel wraps: apply oil or polish remover along the cuticles and loosen strip with a wood stick and work the wood stick throughout the nail until it peels off and then clean the rest of the residue with polish remover. Apply a base coat to help keep nails strong after removal.
